    The Dugongs’ Rest offers 16 individual self-contained cabins, with the choice of King, Queen, King Single or Twin Rooms.  All cabins are fresh, airy and well-equipped – your comfortable home away from home!  All cabins are
    air-conditioned for your comfort and have your own private deck.  The complex is fully fenced and secure.  Our facilities are disability accessible and designed to accommodate all persons.  Free Wi-fi is accessible throughout the entire complex including cabins for your work or pleasure.

    A complimentary continental breakfast basket is provided to all guests daily.

    BBQ AREA

    If you are travelling with work mates or friends or would just like to socialise with other guests you have the opportunity to take advantage of our outdoor undercover area. Throw a steak on the barbie and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and conversation.

    CAFE NEXT DOOR

    Each of our cabins have the facilities available to our guests to prepare themselves a meal, however if you don’t feel like cooking yourself Horn Island’s only café is located right next door. At the café you will be able to order yourself a hot breakfast, lunch or dinner.

    GUEST LAUNDRY

    Travelling with limited clothing or having an extended stay…..we have you covered with a fully functional guest laundry where you can wash, dry and iron as needed.

    SUPERMARKET

    A small supermarket and post office is available next door with the café and a larger supermarket is located a short walk away.

    Venue Hire

    Enjoy our undercover outdoor garden area for a relaxed but focused atmosphere. Tea, coffee, fruit juice, cool water and muffins are supplied. Large screen TV and whiteboard provided. Lunch catering is also available if required. With airport transfers and onsite accommodation, it couldn't be easier!
