    Volunteer Marine Rescue Queensland, together with 11 volunteers from Moa Island, were at The Dugongs Rest in February 2024.

    Despite the wet season, this crew were in high spirits as they piled into the airport shuttle for the short drive back to town. In no time, they were engaged in a training session for the Sea Safety Skill Set (SSSS) which is the theory component of a Nationally Accredited Training Course.
